I don't need this book - I already know about how to secure my computer. Why would I need this book?

First of all Congratulations! I'm thrilled when I meet teens (and adults) who know how to keep their computer secure and up to date, and know how to protect themselves from identity theft.

But, before you continue - how about trying our security quiz? You should find it quite easy... 

I believe that those of us who know about computer security have a responsibility to help those around us. I'm sure you've already been called on by friends and family members to clean up viruses or solve computer problems. 

So for you I want to extend an invitation - to join me in spreading word about this book to your friends and acquaintances.  It will give them the knowledge to protect themselves - and at the very make it easier for them to understand your instructions when you're helping them with problems that come up.

One more thought: among the reviewers of this book were a number of teens who already had a great deal of knowledge about computer security. Yet every single one of them came back during the review with comments that they were surprised about how much they learned. Because, let's face it - as someone who already knows about computer security, you also know that there's always something new to learn (which is one reason for this web site - so I could provide updates - many of which I hope will be contributed by people like yourself).
